Terms and Conditions

Please read through our terms and conditions carefully, should there be anything you do not understand please let us know – Weddings in Paphos. 

Firstly, we must provide for you a wedding package, albeit one from our website or a designed bespoke package, once you have agreed this is what you want, then you fill out our booking form and sign it and return back to us on email then we will start the process of preparing, booking your date, venue, and marriage officer /Church registrar etc. We will then send a pro forma invoice for your booking which you will then pay a minimum deposit of €500, This can be paid, by bank transfer, Online safe and secure payment system JCC SMART, or Paypal. 

Once we have receipt of this a full confirmation will be sent to you that your wedding is confirmed, this can take up to 7 days. Your remaining balance will be paid over monthly instalments up to your wedding day, the payment plan will be agreed in the contract at the time of the agreement. The total balance must be cleared 6 weeks (56 days) prior to the wedding date with final numbers confirmed. Deposits are NOT refundable. 

Should any payments get delayed and are subject to an addendum made after the contract then Weddings In Paphos reserves the right to cancel the booking and make the date available to other clients. We do send a prompt reminder for payments via email, In this case, monies received will be refundable, subject to the cancellation charges below. 

Alteration or cancellation by us; 

In the event that the venue for some reason that is beyond our control, cannot hold your wedding, then Weddings in Paphos, will offer alternative dates, or alternative venue of the same standard.

No compensation will be paid.  We do recommend that you take out a wedding insurance which is listed on our website, or your own insurance should you wish. 

All cancellations must be submitted to Weddings in Paphos in writing, by email, and will be acknowledged by your specialist here on that day. In the event of cancellation, the following charges will be made on the total of the wedding package and wedding reception agreed, after the initial deposit is deducted : 

  • Twelve months or more prior to arrival a charge of 20% will be chargeable the rest will be refunded. 
  • Nine to Twelve months prior to arrival a charge of 50% will be chargeable the rest will be refunded. 
  • Six to nine months prior to arrival a charge of 75% will be chargeable the rest will be refunded. 
  • Three to six months prior to arrival a charge of 100 % will be chargeable.

All monies paid after the deduction of the charges will be seen and confirmed with an invoice, issued in lead name. 

We as Weddings in Paphos, do have a 14 days cooling period.

Consumer rights legislation and practice, a cooling-off period is a period of time following a purchase when the purchaser may choose to cancel a contract/wedding, which have been agreed, for any reason, and obtain a full refund of monies paid. 

Act of God 

In the event that directly and exclusively results from the occurrence of natural causes that could not have been prevented by the exercise of foresight or caution; an inevitable accident, ie, tornadoes, earthquakes, death, extraordinarily high winds, ash cloud, pandemic or similar, tsunami and floods, then providing that the Bride and Groom are in resort, the event will go ahead. If some of the guests have not been able to fly to Cyprus due to the above reasons, travel bans forced by government imposed rules the amount of persons unable to attend will be refunded. In the event that the main lead name has not managed to arrive due to ash cloud/pandemic or any of the above then an alternative date will be set and no extra charges will be made. There will be no compensation for costs for flight, accommodation, car hire or other related expenses that have resulted from other bookings of products or services related to your wedding/charter. 

It is your responsibility for ensuring that you are in possession of all legal and travel documents required for your wedding and that they are valid and correct. 

If you have a complaint whatsoever during your stay in Cyprus you must inform one of our wedding specialists, who will endeavour to put thing right, If the problem cannot be resolved, you must contact our office immediately by telephone or by email so that we are given an opportunity to help. If you fail to take any of these steps this will hinder our ability to put the problem right and/or investigate it fully and any right you have to receive compensation will be reduced or completely forfeited. 

Photographs /Videos can take up to 90 days after the date, as these need to be edited and then sent on a link for you to download on to your system, it is solely your responsibility to download within 7 days, as the link will then become inactive. We will not accept responsibility of the non-downloading of the link. 

Whilst we are totally committed to providing the best possible service to all our customers, Weddings in Paphos cannot be held responsible for none providing of the exact representation shown therein.
